Refund Policy

Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery of Sydney (ABN 58 141 548 325) is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission. All donations are gifts made to the Monastery with no conditions.

Refunds are issued at the Monastery’s discretion and only in exceptional circumstances, where the funds have not yet been applied to the Monastery’s purposes. Circumstances may include where the donation was:

• • made in error
  • made in an incorrect amount
  • not authorised by the donor.

Refund requests must be made in writing within 10 business days of the donation, to info@mahamevnawasydney.org.au, and include the donor’s full name, donation date, donation amount, and receipt number.

If a refund is approved, the original tax receipt becomes void and a replacement may be issued where applicable.
