School Building Fund – Tax Deductible Donations

The School Building Fund of Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery of Sydney is a public fund endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

In accordance with ATO regulations, only donations of $2 or more that are specifically directed towards our approved and published school building projects, and deposited into the designated bank account below, are tax-deductible under Australian income tax law.

For all other types of donations, please use our standard bank account. Please note that these contributions are not tax-deductible.
