Festivities to offer the Katina robe of the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery in Sydney was held on the 09th and 10th of November with the participation of reverend monks from Mahamevnawa monasteries in Australia and New Zealand. The meritorious festivities organised during the two days included a magnificent Bodhi wandanawa, overnight chanting of Pirith, an elegant Katina robe procession and an Almsgiving to the Maha Sangha including a pindapatha charika.

May all those who took part in the events and all those who cherished the moments rejoice these merits! May you all be well and happy !. May you all realise the four Noble Truths in this Gauthama Buddha’s dispensation!
